Start in your control panel.
Click the phone and modem options'  icon (continues below picture)

 This screen will open,

highlight the modem you connect to the internet with and then click properties.

In the modem properties pane, select 'Advanced'

Where it says 'Extra initialization commands' type in 'M0'

Not the letter "O' , use the number '0'

Click 'ok' and you are done. .viola !!!!
